At Classroom Counsel, our mission is to support and empower educators—especially new, second-career, and early-career teachers—by providing practical, relationship-driven strategies that foster strong classroom management, professional confidence, and lasting student success. We are committed to helping teachers build purposeful routines, meaningful connections, and inclusive learning environments from day one.
Our Team
At Classroom Counsel, we are led by founding partner and principal consultant Ernie Lee, an award-winning educator and former attorney who brings decades of experience to helping teachers succeed.
Ernie's unique background—spanning law and education—equips him to guide new, second-career, and veteran teachers in building well-managed, relationship-driven classrooms. A former Georgia Teacher of the Year, he taught AP Psychology, Sociology, and Law & Ethics in Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools, where he also served as Social Studies Department Chair at Savannah Arts Academy.
Ernie has earned national recognition through fellowships at the Smithsonian Institution, Mount Vernon, and the American Psychological Association. He currently serves on the boards of the Ben Marion Institute for Social Justiceand Mercer University’s Tift College of Education.
